The comedian, who also directed and produced the upcoming Netflix movie, also reveals in a new interview how he could have the 'Notting Hill' star on his film.

AceShowbiz - Jerry Seifeld opened up about his experience working with Hugh Grant. Jerry, who co-stars with Hugh in their upcoming movie "Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story", suggested that he didn't exactly have a great time during their collaboration.

During his appearance in the Wednesday, March 27 episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", the comedian jokingly called the "Notting Hill" star a "pain in the a**" on the set. "We had lots of fights. He's a pain in the ass to work with. He's horrible," Jerry recalled.

The actor went on saying, "He tells you before you work with him, 'You're gonna hate this.' And he's so right."

Jerry revealed that they managed to make amends and set their differences aside after going out to dinner. "We shot for 10 weeks, and that night that he and I had dinner - and we got drunk having dinner - that was the greatest night," he shared. "Because he's so cool, and he's that English thing, you know, that witty. He looks good in a jacket . . . he's one of those guys. I love those guys."

Jerry, who also directed and produced the upcoming Netflix movie, also revealed how he could have Hugh on his film. "I did not think of Hugh Grant for the part," he said, adding that Hugh actually requested an audition. "But he called us and he said, 'I want to be in the Pop-Tart movie.' So I got the script and auditioned on my phone."

"So he did an audition on his phone - with a glass of wine in the other hand, by the way," the actor playfully revealed. "Like I care what the audition was. I go, 'Yeah, sure, you're Tony the Tiger, sure.' "

Telling a story about the origin of Pop-Tarts, "Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story" will premiere on May 3 on Netflix.
