The 'Family Feud' host has offered words of wisdom to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end after the athlete is reportedly being approached to front a reboot of the iconic game show.

AceShowbiz - Veteran game show host Steve Harvey has offered words of caution to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is reportedly in talks to host a reboot of "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" for Amazon Prime.
"Well, all I can tell Travis Kelce is be careful, because you might not be smarter than a fifth grader," Harvey, 67, told Us Weekly exclusively.
Harvey, who has hosted "Family Feud" for 15 years, emphasized the importance of humility when working with children. "If you're going to work with kids, though, you got to humble yourself, man," he advised. "You got to let 'em win the joke. You got to let them win the joke because if you outshine the kids, you won't be on TV long."
Harvey credited his use of humor and his ability to make contestants feel welcome as key to his longevity on "Family Feud." "I think being gracious is key to being a host. You got to make people feel warm and feel welcome," he said. "And at the same time, I'm one of the few hosts on game shows that uses humor constantly. I constantly use humor, and that's my secret."
Harvey's advice stems from his own humble beginnings in the entertainment industry. Before making it big in Hollywood, Meghan Markle and Lady Gaga appeared on popular game shows. Harvey himself began his career as a stand-up comic and hosted "Showtime at the Apollo" from 1993 to 2000.
In addition to his success on "Family Feud," Harvey has launched The Steve Harvey Network, an interactive community featuring interviews and motivational programming. He hopes to share principles of success and happiness with others, believing that a few simple principles can help people find their direction.
