The 'Keep Their Heads Ringin' ' spitter gets his friends and music collaborators witness the special moment when he was honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

AceShowbiz - On Tuesday, March 19, music legend Dr. Dre was celebrated with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony was attended by close collaborators and friends, including Jimmy Iovine, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and 50 Cent.

Snoop's heartfelt speech highlighted the event. Describing Dre as "my teacher, mentor, brother, guardian, protector, and most importantly, a good friend," Snoop thanked Dre for his guidance and support over the years. He also jokingly thanked himself for recognizing Dre's talent early on.

"Now take a look at us, over 30 years later and we still on the grind in the studio and you still make me do every line 100 motherf**king times. Still," he said. "And I thank you for that, perfectionist. I thank you for being a perfectionist and always pushing me to be great. You always bring out the best of the Dogg, Dr. Dre and that I do appreciate."

Eminem, who has collaborated with Dre on numerous tracks, was present to show his support. Dre has praised Eminem's rapping skills, calling him "the greatest MC ever." 50 Cent was also in attendance, having previously spoken about Dre's role in his musical journey.

About being honored with his own star, Dre spoke to Entertainment Tonight after the ceremony, "This is fun, to be appreciated like this." He continued, "It means everything. It's like [I'm] finally immortalized, you know? I'mma be here forever."

The honor comes just three years after Dre suffered a near-fatal brain aneurysm. "That was a warning shot for me to get my s**t together," he said. "Getting his Walk of Fame star after nearly losing it all felt 'incredible.' "

Despite the health scare, Dre is not slowing down. He believes his best work is yet to come, stating, "I feel like I'm in my bag right now, I'm making the best music I've ever done."
