The 'Where Do We Go Now?' spitter ends up in a wheelchair after taking part in the New York City Half Marathon without wearing 'a pair of appropriate running shoes.'

AceShowbiz - Lil Nas X appeared to have put his legs to rest following a new milestone. After running a half marathon during a recent sports event in New York City, the "Where Do We Go Now?" spitter ended up in a wheelchair.

In a video making its rounds online on Monday, March 18, it could be seen that the 24-year-old Grammy-winning hip-hop artist was getting ready for a race during the New York City Half Marathon, which was held one day prior. In the clip, he was documented showing off a number tag on his top as he said to the camera, "Hey, future me! I'm about to run a half marathon."

The clip went on to show an iconic transition on the "SpongeBob SquarePants" series. It featured a message that read, "3 hours later." The footage then showed Lil Nas X giving an update after completing the race. He said, "Well, the race went well," while pinning the camera down to showcase a black wheelchair.

Lil Nas X was filmed sitting on the wheelchair while pushing himself farther away from the camera. He then struck a number of poses and flashed his radiant big smile. Near the end of the video, he stated, "It's giving race."

The "Sun Goes Down" singer, who appeared in good spirits during the Sunday half marathon, was smiling from ear-to-ear when he ran in his vibrant outfit. For the race, he opted to wear a long-sleeved bright green sporty top and a pair of black shorts with white lines on both of their sides.

In addition, Lil Nas X covered his hair with a dark-colored bonnet. Instead of sporting a pair of running shoes, he decided to wear white sneakers that came with a high top design from Coach. On the reason why, Page Six revealed, "[He] didn't even own a pair of appropriate running shoes." He reportedly "went to a sneaker shop, only to find it closed."

The media outlet additionally shared that Lil Nas X "had never run more than three miles" before the Sunday half marathon. The "Industry Baby" singer allegedly also "had never jogged in the great outdoors" prior to the race.
