AceShowbiz - Julia Fox flaunted her out-of-the-box on "OMG Fashun". In a teaser for the upcoming E! fashion competition series, the model emphasized her status as a style icon with her jaw-dropping looks.
Unveiled on Monday, March 18, the teaser sees judge Law Roach telling the contestants, "You're designing for the ultimate muse: Julia Fox." He continued, "One man's trash is Julia Fox's treasure."
In each episode, the up-and-coming designers will be challenged to explore their creativity as they're required to create a red-carpet worthy ensemble with the most unconventional of materials.
Julia notes, "Doing this show is just what I do in my everyday life." She further teases, "One of you will go home with a $10,000 prize, and the other will go home with a quarter and this necklace. I'm gonna keep the quarter actually, I might need it for parking."
At one point, the 34-year-old model can be seen donning a hat that was from a cabinet drawer with a lot of things, including a hammer, dangling on it. The "Uncut Gems" star also wore a pink bustier adorned with plastic doll heads.
The show will also feature former "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks as a guest judge. Also making appearances on the series are "13 Reasons Why" alum Tommy Dorfman, comedian Pretty Vee, "RuPaul's Drag Race" winner Violet Chachki, model Wisdom Kaye as well as Nylon magazine's editor-in-chief, Lauren McCarthy.
According to the press release, the description of "OMG Fashun" reads, 'Using materials and techniques that would make fashion’s so-called gatekeepers squirm, the contestants must race against the clock to compose and style their unconventional ensembles for the judging panel. The disruptor with the most eye-catching, unexpected and cutting-edge look is crowned the winner of the competition."
Julia previously gushed over the project, saying last month, "OMG Fashun is shaping the future of fashion, emphasizing sustainability, upcycling, and creative craftsmanship to restore integrity to this art form. Being the most stylish person in the room doesn't require breaking the bank; all it takes is creativity and a dash of confidence."
She added, "My biggest hope is that our viewers will get inspired by what we create on the show and recreate the looks at home using all their old junk they have lying around!"
