The 'Million Dollar Baby' actress embraces her new role as a first-time mom to her twin babies, finding her experience to be 'more joyful' than she's ever imagined.

AceShowbiz - Hilary Swank has found motherhood "way more fun" than she expected. The Oscar-winning "Million Dollar Baby" actress, 49, first became a mum last year with her entrepreneur and actor husband Philip Schneider, 49, when she gave birth to her boy and girl twins Aya and Ohm.
"It's way more joyful. It's way more fun, it's way more exciting than I ever imagined. I always thought it would be extraordinary, but it's way more," she told Page Six when asked for her thoughts on parenthood.
Hilary shared her thoughts at the red carpet premiere of her new film "Ordinary Angels" at the SVA Theater in New York City.
She revealed she was pregnant in October 2022 during an appearance on "Good Morning America", but she kept her kids' names secret until Valentine's Day this year.
Hilary announced their monikers by posting a picture of her children sitting on the beach with their names spelled out in green sea glass behind them. She added that even though she is considered an older mother, she thinks mums of all ages share the same "exhaustion."
Hilary said, "I think there's exhaustion no matter how old you are. You can be in your 20s and still be exhausted being a new mom. I think it comes with the territory."
The actress' latest film is based on the true story of a hairdresser named Sharon Stevens, played by Hilary, from Louisville, Kentucky, who with the help of her local community helps widowed father Ed Schmitt (played by Alan Ritchson) when she learns his five-year-old daughter, Michelle (Emily Mitchell) needs a liver transplant.
Hilary said about how she identified with the film's theme of kindness, "I always try and be like that. I think it's important to live a life of kindness. It doesn't mean you always do it. I know it sounds cliché, but (treat people) how we want to be treated…. I think (that way) we can find kindness again."
