The 'My Ex's Best Friend' rapper garners mixed responses after debuting his huge all-black tattoo, which nearly covers up all of his previous chest and arm inks.

AceShowbiz - Machine Gun Kelly has shocked his devotees with his new social media post. The "My Ex's Best Friend" rapper debuted his fresh massive blackout tattoo that covered up his previous inks on his upper body.

On Tuesday, February 20, the 33-year-old alternative rock and hip-hop artist made use of his Instagram account to upload a photo highlighting his new huge ink. In the picture, it could be seen that he got his chest and arms covered with a blackout tattoo.

The wild ink covered MGK's lower neck down to his chest, making the shape of a huge cross on his upper body. It also covered his shoulders down to his wrists. The massive art did not entirely cover his skin as it left several parts, which are in the shape of lines, untouched to show off his previous arm inks.

In the snap, the "Roll the Windows Up" spitter was standing up while tilting his head downward, seemingly looking at the new all-black tattoo. He went shirtless and only sported a pair of loose long black pants and black boots with gray laces.

MGK accessorized himself with a ring, necklace and a pair of huge earrings. In addition, he polished his fingernails in a white color. Along with the photo, he wrote in the caption of the post, "For spiritual purposes only." He went on to voice his appreciation for his tattoo artist, "Thank you @roxx_____."

That same day, the tattoo artist released another picture of MGK to offer a closer look at the eye-catching ink. Accompanying the snap, the artist gushed over the musician in the caption, "Made some art with @machinegunkelly. Never met a tougher one."

After debuting the blackout tattoo, MGK garnered mixed online responses from Instagram users. In the comments sections of the posts, one in particular gushed, "I actually love it! especially the stripes on the arms, so you can still see what was there before." Similarly, another praised, "All this hate for no reason . This looks amazing . @roxx_____ is a brilliant artist and it looks stunning. All that matters is MGK is happy with it."

Meanwhile, a third wrote, "Ugh. I wish u didn't do that. I loved ur tattoos. I hate when people comment on tattoos (I have 15) but I feel like this is a cry for help. You continuously keep doing dramatic drastic things to erase who you were in the past it seems like. Idk man. I love u but this is a lot." A fourth noted, "MGK is known for his various tattoos and even his Cleveland tattoos. To get that all covered up and go straight black is wild and weird to me."
