Taking to their respective Instagram pages on Monday, February 5, the couple announced their new duet, 'Purple Irises', by sharing its cover art.

AceShowbiz - Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani proved that their marriage remains strong despite split speculations between the two. "The Voice" judges shut down the rumors by announcing a new collaboration on social media.

Taking to their Instagram pages on Monday, February 5, the couple announced their new duet, "Purple Irises" by posting the cover art for the track. The snapshot showed the No Doubt frontwoman rocking a blue denim jumpsuit and platform sandals while laying on a vintage couch.

Blake, who donned a denim outfit as well, played guitar and smiled while sitting in front of her. The whole vibe seems to radiate a throwback '70s aesthetic with a joyful playfulness. In the caption, the two artists simply wrote, "02.09.24."

The announcement arrived after a source told Life & Style that Blake and Gwen were "leading separate lives." The source noted, "It's very sad, but the writing seems to be on the wall for their marriage, adding that the pair's marriage is "definitely in trouble."

"Lately, they've been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time," the insider continued. "The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result."

Blake and Gwen began dating in 2015 after they met on the set of "The Voice", where they both served as coaches. They announced their engagement in October 2020 and tied the knot in July 2021 in a very intimate ceremony held inside a special chapel in Blake's property.
