Through her Instagram page, the 'Lavender Haze' songstress releases the monochromatic image of her lying in bed for the cover of her upcoming album 'The Tortured Poets Department'.

AceShowbiz - Swifties are in for a treat on the night of the 2024 Grammy Awards. Taylor Swift has unleashed the album cover for her upcoming record "The Tortured Poets Department" after dropping the big news at the Sunday, February 4 ceremony.

Making use of her social media page, the 34-year-old unveiled the sultry cover art featuring her lying in bed. The singer/songwriter's face was partially cut in the monochromatic image that captured her torso down to her thigh.

The "Anti-Hero" songstress wore a sheer black tank top with one of its slings slung over to her shoulder as she placed one of her hands across her chest and another on her stomach. She paired the top with black shorts.

Along with the photo, Taylor shared a picture of her writing, which could be the lyrics of one of the tracks off the new album. "And so I enter into evidence/ My tarnished coat of arms/ My muses, acquired like bruises/ My talismans and charms/ The tick, tick, tick of love bombs/ My veins of pitch black ink," it reads.

She ended the note with, "All's fair in love and poetry. Sincerely, The Chairman of the Tortured Poets Department." The album has 16 songs on the standard tracklist, as teased on her website.

Swift announced her upcoming album at the 66th annual Grammy Awards. When accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for "Midnights" which marks her 13th Grammy, she said in her speech, "I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way, but I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans."

"So I want to say 'thank you' to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the last two years," she added, "which is that my brand new album comes out April 19. It's called 'The Tortured Poets Department'. I'm gonna go and post the cover right now backstage. Thank you! I love you!"

"The Tortured Poets Department" will be Swift's 11th studio album following her 2022 hit album "Midnights". She most recently released her fourth re-recorded album "1989 (Taylor's Version)" in 2023.
