AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might be planning their future together while ringing in the new year. Rumor has it that the couple was secretly engaged when they spent New Year's Eve together in Kansas City.
In a new episode of Deuxmoi's podcast, the gossip account relayed information from one of its tipsters who claimed to have heard the couple did make a promise to marry each other on December 31. "Pretty sure Taylor and Travis got engaged 12/31," the source told the account. "They did it just the two of them alone before they headed to that party where they were photographed."
The source went on noting that the couple is not ready to make it official yet. They have so much on their plates in the coming months so it's "too soon to go public." The source explained, "They don't want to overshadow that. It's too soon."
After Daily Mail published an article based on the story, Deuxmoi posted a new clarification on its Instagram account. While claiming that the report came from someone that the blog trusts, it added that it doesn't "necessarily believe it."
There have been conflicting reports about Taylor and Travis' engagement plans. A source told Page Six earlier this month that the pair "will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July," adding, "Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan."
However, Us Weekly quickly debunked it. Another informant told the site, "Travis and Taylor have no plans on getting engaged this summer. Things between them are going amazing, but they haven't even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other."
The so-called insider added that close friends of the "Anti-Hero" songstress would be thrilled if Travis did pop the question and "and some may even believe" that it could happen at some point this year, despite the couple's apparent insistence that it will not be "anytime soon."
