AceShowbiz - Jon Pardi and his wife Summer are expanding their little family. Revealing that they are expecting their second child together, the "Head Over Boots" crooner and his spouse said they "can't wait" to welcome their unborn baby.
The 38-year-old and the pregnant mom broke the exciting news via Instagram on Sunday, January 7. The pair unleashed a video of the two and their 10-month-old daughter, Presley Fawn, walking through an unfinished house.
At some point, the baby girl was seen sitting and holding a sonogram of her sibling on the way. Alongside the clip, soundtracked by Labrinth's "The Feels", the expectant parents wrote, "Good thing we have that extra guest room. we can't wait to fill this home with all of the love from our little family of four."
Jon, who was introduced to Summer by a friend of his mother, wed the hairdresser in November 2020. The couple welcomed their first child in February of this year.
"Our Baby girl is here and ready to Pardi haha DAD joke! @summer_pardi Presley Fawn Pardi 2.18.2023 5,05am 7lbs 12oz 20.25 inches (sic)," Jon announced on Instagram at the time as he shared a black-and-white image of his baby. Summer, for her part, penned on her own page, "What a whirlwind 24 hours (48 if you count the stomach virus [laughing emoji]) (sic)."
Jon and Summer have been open about wanting to build a family. In a past interview with PEOPLE, Summer explained, "It was definitely an interesting two years of ups and downs - the constant letdown month after month can really be hard on a couple."
"After years of no luck and meeting with doctors who just didn't feel like the right fit, we decided to take a break, leave it in God's hands and just enjoy each other and this crazy, fun life we live together," she recalled. "And then surprise, we're pregnant!"
