The 'Saltburn' actress and the 'Last of Us' star reveal that they do not sport their interesting accessories to the 81st annual event in Los Angeles only for fashion.

AceShowbiz - Rosamund Pike and Pedro Pascal made their appearances at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards with some interesting accessories. The "Saltburn" actress and the star of "The Last of Us" revealed that they did not add them to their looks only for fashion.
The 44-year-old actress hit the red carpet at the event, which took place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 7, in her all-black ensemble. She enhanced the look with a see-through black head piece that covered several parts of her face. The eye-catching stylish accessory came with black lace.
On the reason why she donned the head piece, Rosamund spilled to Variety on the red carpet, "It is a protective veil for the occasion." She went on to explain, "Well, I had an accident after Christmas actually. I had a [skiing] accident. I might have to think, 'Not what you want knowing you're coming to the Golden Globes on the 7th of January.' "
The British actress further recalled, "So on 26th of December, my face was entirely smashed up," while pointing to the left side of her neck. "And I thought, 'I need to do something.' " She further shared, "Actually its healed, but I kind of fell in love with the look."
Rosamund appeared to have intentionally made the protective veil to have a matching color and style with clothing pieces that she wore, including a long black dress. The gown itself came with black lace, a highneck design as well as matching fishnet on the upper part of the dress and its two long sleeves.
While adding a number of rings and a pair of earrings to the elegant look, the actress, who was nominated for her role in her movie titled "Saltburn", sported a pair of strappy black open-toe high heels. In addition, her hair was styled into a sleek low bun.
In the meantime, fellow actor Pedro was spotted wearing a sling when he stepped on the red carpet at the 81st annual Golden Globes. When receiving a question from reporters about the reason behind sporting the sling, "The Last of Us" star, who was nominated for best actor in drama TV series for his role on the TV series, simply revealed that he "fell" down.
Though so, Pedro attracted the attention of other attendees with his black-and-white get-up. He donned a long-sleeved black top, which had white patterns all over it as well as a turtleneck design, and a pair of long black tailored pants. The actor, who styled his hair into a sleek back hairdo, completed the look with a pair of matching boots and clear glasses.
