Lori Allison, who was briefly married to the actor in the 1980s, refuses to call the 'Aquaman' star by her name in an interview as she blasts the actress for doing 'absolutely horrific' things to their mutual ex.

AceShowbiz - One of Johnny Depp's exes couldn't stand watching him face defaming allegations leveled at him by Amber Heard. Speaking up in defense of the actor in the aftermath of the defamation trial that he has won, Lori Allison called out the actress for "putting him through the wringer."

Lori was married to Johnny for only roughly two years from 1983 until 1985, but she has no hard feelings toward the 59-year-old star. During an appearance on the "Popcorned Planet" podcast, she opened up about how she was feeling when seeing her ex go through the 2022 trial.

"She who shall not be named making all these accusations and putting him through the wringer," the makeup artist said of Amber (as quoted by Daily Mail). "I had met her before, I'd been to parties at his house and she seemed really nice and she was gorgeous and what's not to love?"

"But as the time went by and I would hear things about her - she who shall not be named - he didn't seem too happy all the time," she claimed, before noting, "I didn't see him a lot so I can't really say."

"The things that affected me more were the things he said in court - I probably broke down several times because I felt really bad for him," Lori continued. "He's very private - which is why I don't do interviews - and I think for him to come out so wholeheartedly was what he really needed to do."

She said of the trial, "I thought it was either going to be an epic train wreck or it was going to go really well." Lori added that she felt "terrified" for Johnny as she watched Amber take the stand.

Ripping the "Aquaman" actress to shreds, she disclosed that she would take matters into her own hands to make Amber pay for her actions if it were legal. "I'm no angel, I've done my share of s***ty things to people but what she did was absolutely horrific and if there were things that I could do to her that were legal I would do them! I would," she admitted.

While her marriage to Johnny ended on a sour note, she has nothing but praises for her ex-husband. "He's really generous, he has the biggest heart of someone I've ever met. I love him to pieces and I get all goofy eyed when I think about him and his future, our past," she gushed.

"I want nothing but the best for him and I hope he feels the same about me!" the 65-year-old added. "Can I say bad things about him? I can say bad things about everybody but there's no reason to. He makes normal mistakes like other people do. But again he's generous, kind and I can't wait to be in a room with him again because I love to give him hugs."

Both Johnny and Amber have been keeping low profiles following the defamation trial, in which the actress was found guilty of defaming him in a 2018 op-ed published in The Washington Post. While the Oscar-nominated actor has scored his first role since the trial in French film "Jeanne du Barry", he has not made an acting comeback in Hollywood.
