The standup comedian recalls how the son of actor Tom Hanks engaged in 'dangerous' behavior while filming the 'Eric Andre Show', to the point he compares it to 'Rust'.

AceShowbiz - Eric Andre slammed Chet Hanks in a new interview. The standup comedian criticized the son of actor Tom Hanks for his "dangerous" behavior while they worked together for "Eric Andre Show".

"Chet Hanks, on the other hand, was a tough cookie. He broke our crew. It felt like 'Rust,' " Andrew told Rolling Stone, referring to Alec Baldwin's movie that resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. "He broke us down."

The 39-year-old comic went on to say that Chet engaged in "dangerous" behavior that could have resulted in injured cast and crewmembers. "He is… emotionally disturbed. He stole a motorcycle and rode it around. He almost knocked a bunch of grips and gaffers off their ladders," the "Bad Trip" star recalled.

"It was very dangerous. He tried to prank us back, but we edited out all his bulls**t!" he continued. "He's not well. How did Colin Hanks come out so good and Chet Hanks come out so bad?"

Not stopping there, the "Man Seeking Woman" voice actor further claimed that the 32-year-old "tried to sleep with [Ziwe]." whom he previously went to school with. who he previously went to school with. The Florida star joked, "I talked to Ziwe about it. God, what a guy. Now he's the executive producer on the show and the president of Adult Swim."

Chet, who struggled with addiction issues, sobered up in 2018. The California native unfortunately relapsed, though he has been clean since September 2021 and has launched a personal training company.

Back in November, Chet opened up about being sent to a wilderness program in southern Utah by his parents to treat his addiction when he was in high school. "They just hiked us in circles with an 80-pound pack," the "White Boy Summer" rapper recalled. "There's a lot going through your mind. You're under observation. … They're psychoanalyzing you and picking you apart."
