AceShowbiz - Zendaya Coleman is seemingly tired of facing wild speculations about her. Having been rumored to be pregnant with Tom Holland's baby, the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" actress took to social media to shut it down.
The 25-year-old Hollywood star made use of Instagram Story to set record straight. In the Wednesday, June 15 post, she lamented, "See now, this is why I stay off Twitter. Just making stuff up for no reason weekly."
The pregnancy speculations first emerged on TikTok after someone shared an edited photo of an ultrasound that was posted on Zendaya's Instagram account. Even rapper/singer Lil Nas X got caught up too.
"I hate twitter because I'm sitting here about to congratulate zendaya via dm about a baby that doesn't even exist," the Grammy-winning artist wrote on his Twitter page.
In February, Tom addressed rumors saying he and Zendaya have moved in together in London. When appearing on "Live with Kelly and Ryan" in February, he said, "One of my favorite aspects of this job is the way the press will manipulate the truth and come out with the most outrageous headlines. It's crazy."
"I've had so many people call me up because apparently, I bought a new house in South London? Which is completely false!" the 25-year-old English heartthrob further told hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest. "I didn't buy a new house."
The "Chaos Walking" actor went on to say, "I'm like, 'Wow, what a surprise, I wonder when I'll get the keys.' " Ryan then asked the actor, "So, where did that come from? Was there any inkling of truth to that?"
While Tom has yet to respond to Ryan's question, the TV host jokingly threw a string of rapid-fire questions as saying, "Did you walk by a house? Did you go to someone's house? Were you invited over?" The "Cherry" star, who looked frustrated by the questions, then replied, "I don't know! Honestly, I don't know," which garnered an outburst of laughter from the audience.
