AceShowbiz - Fans will seemingly see less of Denise Richards in upcoming season 10 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills". The 48-year-old reality star is reportedly absent in several filmings for the Bravo show and it has something to do with her acting career.
"Denise Richards has actually been MIA from filming [Real Housewives] a lot just because she’s so busy filming her other projects," one source claims to HollywoodLife.com. "She really loves doing 'Housewives' but being an actress is her first priority when it comes to her career and [RHOBH] has opened even more doors for her."
Denise is one of the cast members on "The Bold and the Beautiful" which sees her playing a character named Shauna Fulton. She is described as a fun-loving, hard-working single mother from Las Vegas who has "a past and big secrets to spill."
"I just thought it would be a fun thing to do, something fun and challenging and different," Denise previously said of starring on the daytime soap opera. "It is a very well-oiled machine, and they shoot pretty much two episodes a day. There are a lot of pages of dialogue, so you just have to know your stuff and be ready."
This affects greatly her schedule for "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", because unlike shooting movies or primetime shows, soap opera schedules can be intense due to the sheer volume of content. In most cases, it forces the stars to film for such long days and it wraps in unpredictable times.
Denise has a lot on her plate because that's not the only project she's doing. She has oter scripted series and TV movies, including films "Switched" and "The Secret Lives of Cheerleaders" as well as sci-fi series "FraXtur. The informant added, "She's so busy and has so many different projects going on that she accidentally gets her projects mixed up."
She is also a busy mom with three kids. She shares two kids, Sam (15) and Lola (14), with ex-husband Charlie Sheen and has a 7-year-old adopted daughter Eloise Joni. "Denise has also really been trying to focus on her family and her health, even recently recovering from a surgical procedure," the insider went on saying. "The [RHOBH] women love her and are hopeful that she’ll be at more events in the near future."
