James 'Whitey' Bulger, who was once one of the FBI's 10 most wanted fugitives, has been found dead in his cell one day after he was transferred from a facility in Oklahoma.

AceShowbiz - Notorious crime boss James "Whitey" Bulger has died at the age of 89.
The former fugitive was reportedly found dead in his cell at high-security penitentiary USP Hazelton in West Virginia on Monday, October 29, a day after he was transferred from a facility in Oklahoma. A cause of death has yet to be determined, but Bulger was reportedly beaten to death.
He was serving two life sentences after being found guilty, in August, 2013, for his role in 11 murders. He was acquitted of another seven and a conclusion on an eighth could not be reached.
Prosecutors claimed the killings all took place throughout the 1970s and 1980s, before Whitey fled Boston, Massachusetts and went on the run, becoming one of the FBI's 10 most wanted fugitives. He was captured by law enforcement officials in California in 2011.
The late gangster has been the subject of several Hollywood projects including 2015's "Black Mass", in which Johnny Depp portrayed Bulger. Jack Nicholson's character in "The Departed" was also loosely based on him.
