Along with a picture of her holding Alec's hand, Hilaria writes on Instagram that the surgery 'went well' and 'I am with him in recovery.'

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin is recovering after undergoing hip replacement surgery on Wednesday, February 7. His wife Hilaria took to Instagram to share an update on her husband's condition after the surgery.
"Thank you for your kind wishes," she wrote along with a picture of her holding Alec's hand. "I know many of you are anxious to hear how he is doing. We have been here since very early... All went well in surgery and I am with him in recovery. [love emoji] to all. #wegotthis2018."
The day before, Hilaria revealed that the actor was preparing for the surgery. Sharing on the photo-sharing platform a picture of the couple hugging, she wrote in the caption, "It's been a day... jury duty, crabby kids, vet, meetings, pancakes that went oh so wrong... but I'm ending it with an amazing experience watching Alec interview with Michael Wolff for #heresthething."
"And now we rest because tomorrow morning we are in the hospital bright and early for his hip to be replaced," she continued. "Think good thoughts for us. We are gonna eat lightly, relax and take deep breaths."
Despite the challenging day, the couple has something special to look forward to. They are currently expecting their fourth child together. Hilaria shared the happy news via Instagram in November last year, posting a picture of herself lying on the floor. A day after that, she revealed that their upcoming fourth child is a boy. The unborn baby will be the fifth child for Alec and the fourth one for Hilaria.
Alec and Hilaria stated dating in August 2011. They got engaged in April 2012 and tied the knot two months later at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral in New York City. They welcomed daughter Carmen in 2013, sons Rafael in 2015 and Leonardo in 2016. Alec is also a father to 22-year-old model Ireland Baldwin, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
