AceShowbiz - Taraji P. Henson has finally confirmed her relationship with Kelvin Hayden after two years together. In a special episode of ESSENCE's podcast "Yes, Girl!", the 47-year-old actress gushes about her love life, now that she's been dating the former NFL star.
"I'm very happy. Everything is coming together," she said on Thursday, December 14. The actress, who won an SAG award this year for her role in "Hidden Figures", added, "I'm happy in my personal life. Finally it has happened to me!"
While she has confirmed her relationship status, don't expect Henson to reveal more about her personal life. "It was all over 'The Shade Room' anyway," Henson remarked. "You know, I'm not the type to blast my personal business, but you know, I think that it's important for people to know that I'm happy. I'm very very happy. I just am. We've been together for two years. And no one would really know that because I don't blast my info like that but I'm very happy."
Henson and Hayden were first reported to be romantically linked in 2015 after they were spotted walking hand-in-hand along the Miami beach. Back in November 2016, it was reported that the 47-year-old actress dumped him after less than a year of dating. He was allegedly the one who ended the relationship and was already dating another woman, a blonde girl from Chicago.
While the pair never confirmed both dating and breaking up speculations, it's reported last month that they got back together. The good news, however, came with a bad one as sources claimed that Hayden cheated on Henson with multiple women.
An Instagram account dedicated to expose Hayden's alleged affairs with at least three different women revealed how he had cheated on her. One of the women was allegedly named Brittany, whom Kelvin was pictured together with at different places. Some of the photos saw them in intimate poses, with the pair sharing a kiss or Kelvin putting his arm around his lady love.
Another woman named Nadia was pictured with Kelvin at what looked like a luxurious condo overlooking the sky. The 34-year-old athlete allegedly also spent time with another woman who was pictured with him in a car.
Judging from Henson's statements in the new interview, it appears that their relationship is still going strong despite the cheating allegations.
