Both Harry and Debra, who play Leo and Grace respectively on the fan-favorite comedy, have taken to Instagram to share photos of them together on the set.

AceShowbiz - Guys, Leo is back! Harry Connick Jr. is officially making an appearance and reprising his role as Leo on the upcoming "Will & Grace" revival on NBC. Both the actor and Debra Messing, who plays Grace on the fan-favorite comedy, have taken to their respective Instagram accounts to share photos of them together on the set.

The "Dolphin Tale" actor posts a photo of him and Debra while Debra is apparently taking a selfie. He captions the cheeky snap, "THIS IS A FIRST! a #stalkie of me while @therealdebramessing takes a selfie! #willandgrace."

Debra, meanwhile, shares a photo which sees Debra and the former "American Idol" mentor posing for a selfie. "Time to swooooooonnnnn. Yup! He's backkkkkkkkkkkk. That southern gentleman that stole all of our hearts- @harryconnickjr . There will never be another Leo. @nbcwillandgrace," she captions the snap in obvious excitement.

Debra surely is not the only one who is psyched for Harry's return. Fellow cast member Megan Mullally, who portrays Karen on the show, also shares a pic of her and the singer/actor on the photo-sharing platform. "this one. SUCH A GREAT GUY. so fun to be around. we love you @harryconnickjr welcome back! #willandgrace @nbcwillandgrace," she writes in the caption.

Leo's return is somehow surprising since it was previously reported that the new reboot would ignore the show's final episode, in which Grace was married to Leo. Thus, it remains to be seen how big a role Harry will play on the revival.

So far, Harry is the only confirmed returning guest star. But EP Max Mutchnik previously shared that they were "not going to shy away from bringing any of those people back into the world." He added, "But we don't want to, like, nail ourselves down to any of them."

"Will & Grace" kicks off on Thursday, September 28 at 9 P.M. on NBC.
