The 'Malibu' hitmaker allegedly 'lost her temper' and 'refused to talk to' the actor for two days after he refused to wear the band.

AceShowbiz - Earlier this month, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were said to be secretly tying the knot, as the actor was spotted wearing a suspicious ring. However, the band turned out to be just a promise ring given by Miley. A new report has now suggested that Liam refused to wear the jewelry at first, and his girlfriend was displeased. They allegedly got into an explosive fight because of it.

"She pushed him and pushed him to wear the ring, and she finally lost her temper and was screaming at him furiously," a source told Life & Style. "The fight was one of the worst they've ever had. She refused to talk to him for almost two days after that."

Not wanting to upset her more, the actor has since worn the ring. "He wears the ring as more of a 'promise' to Miley, but they are not officially married," a source previously told E! News. "The only thing that is missing is the legal pice of paper. The pair is not focused on planning a wedding at this time. They are more focused on making their love as strong as possible."

While they are totally getting stronger, Miley and Liam are not planning to walk down the isle in the near future. "Miley and Liam are happier than ever and it has everything to do with their love," an insider shared. "They enjoy spending time together and their chemistry has never been better in and out of the bedroom. They are in no hurry to change the status of anything in their relationship."

"They have so many great ideas for wedding venues, from the beaches of Malibu to the shores of Australia, they know when the time is right they will throw an epic wedding party for their friends and family," the insider added. "But for now, their focus will be on keeping each other happy and continuing to kick a** in their careers which keeps them super busy."

Miley and Liam first met in 2009 on the set of their movie "The Last Song". The couple got engaged in 2012, only to call it off a year later. The "Wrecking Ball" songstress confirmed in October 2016 that they were, once again, engaged.
