AceShowbiz - Another familiar face might be returning for the upcoming "X-Men: Dark Phoenix". Olivia Munn who played Psylocke in "X-Men: Apocalypse" is rumored to reprise her role in the next installment after she shared on Instagram story her arrival in Montreal, where the movie is filmed, with a lot of luggage.
If "The Newsroom" actress is signed on for the new movie, she will join the mainstays like Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy & Nicholas Hoult, as well as the returning cast members like Sophie Turner, Evan Peters, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan & Kodi Smit-McPhee.
"Dark Phoenix" is coming out Stateside November 2, 2018. It will center on Jean Grey, who develops dangerously amplified telepathic powers when she comes into contact with the Phoenix, a cosmic entity that eventually takes over her personality. The connection births the Dark Phoenix and transforms Jean into a deadly force battling the X-Men. Jessica Chastain is reportedly in talks to play the villain.
