Will Zayn Malik Join Former One Direction Bandmates for Grenfell Fire Charity Record?

Fans are wondering if the boyfriend of Gigi Hadid will reunite with his former bandmates for the record to honor Grenfell fire victims.

AceShowbiz - Sorry, guys, but Zayn Malik won't be joining his former bandmates on a charity single for Grenfell Tower fire victims. While Directioners have high hopes for Zayn to join Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson in One Direction's mini reunion, it seems very unlikely for the "Pillowtalk" singer to make it.

"Louis and Liam have already signed in to perform with a whole buch of other Brit artists for Simon Cowell's Grenfell towers charity record," an insider tells HollywoodLife.com. "Niall and Harry really want to perform on it too, but they're still trying to clear their schedules. No word at all from Zayn, so pretty sure he won't be joining."

It seems like Zayn doesn't want to make things awkward between him and his former bandmates. "All of the lads were really devastated by the fire, as all of the British public were, it was truly horrific, and they would love to be able to help out in some way. Seems that Zayn is still too bitter about everything though to be able to put it aside though," the source adds.

With their busy schedule as solo artists, it is still unclear whether all the four members will be included on the upcoming charity song. "Sadly, it's not a One Direction reunion in reality though, even if Harry and Niall manage to join Louis and Liam, they will all perform under their own names and not as 1D," the source continues. "In the future there's a definite possibility of a reunion, but not for some time. They'll probably follow in Take That's steps and wait for a decade or so."
