Kim Kardashian Says Kanye West, Not Monica Rose, Was Responsible for Her Style Transformation

Kim claims she hasn't worked with Monica in four years, but she won't speak on behalf of her sisters about their decision to part ways with their longtime stylist.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian recently sat down with Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live", during which she talked about a lot of things, including the Kardashians' recent split with longtime stylist Monica Rose. "The entire Kardashian/Jenner clan used a stylist named Monica rose. You all recently unfollowed her on social media and are no longer associated with her. Can you give us the real reason that she is no longer in your universe?" the host asked her.

The reality TV star avoided directly answering the question, but she set things straight that Monica was not responsible for her style transformation. While crediting her husband Kanye West for her style transformation, the 36-year-old TV personality said that her own drama with the stylist had nothing to do with her sisters' decision.

"I haven't worked with her in maybe four years, so my reason is not connected to this," she told Andy. "But I will say that I read that it was said that she was the reason for my makeover - my makeover when I met Kanye - and I will say that Kanye got me a new team and we kind of documented it." Kim added, "So I think people think that’s the reason, and for me, maybe that is the reason. I needed a new vibe."

As for the reason why her sisters also parted ways with Monica who had worked with them for nearly a decade, Kim said, "You'd have to ask Khloe and Kendall and Kylie and the girls."

Kim, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner recently unfollowed Monica on the social media. The stylist, however, told PEOPLE at Reebok's Classic Leather Palm Springs retreat that she felt blessed to have worked with them in the past.

"I've actually been very fortunate to be able to work with such amazing girls, I've surprised myself and how hard I've worked to be able to be where I am," she said. "It wouldn't even be fair for me to say, 'Oh I want to work with this person, or that person,' because I'm so fortunate to be able to be where I am and work with the amazing women that I have. I'm super blessed, I guess I can say."
