The embattled Fox News host announced Tuesday on 'O'Reilly Factor' that he would be taking nearly two weeks off from the show.

AceShowbiz - Bill O'Reilly is signing off your screen, at least for several days, amid sexual harassment scandal. The veteran TV host announced during "O'Reilly Factor" on Tuesday, April 11 that he would be taking nearly two weeks off from hosting the show.
"Around this time of year, I grab some vacation because it’s spring and Easter time," he told viewers at the end of Tuesday's show. "Last fall I booked a trip that should be terrific. Not going to tell you where it is but...I'll have a full report when I return."
He also announced a "Guess Where Bill Is Going" online contest. He is expected to return to the airwaves on April 24.
O'Reilly taking a break from the show comes on the heels of a call for the 67-year-old journalist to be fired, after New York Times exposed O'Reilly's alleged sex scandal. The newspaper reported in early April that O'Reilly and Fox News had reached multiple settlements of sexual harassment or other inappropriate behavior by the network's primetime star.
O'Reilly denied the report, saying that his fame has made him a target "for those who would harm me and my employer, the Fox News Channel." He also argued that the claims were settled to protect his children.
A longtime friend of O'Reilly, President Donald Trump has defended the embattled host. He said that O'Reilly "didn't do anything wrong." The POTUS said, "He's a person I know well; he's a good person," but added, "I think he shouldn't have settled, personally. I think he shouldn't have settled. Because you should have taken it all the way."
