A crazed fan named Mohammed Jaffar has been charged with both stalking and burglary after spending the last few months trying to get access to her NYC home.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift reportedly almost had a close encounter with an obsessed fan in her NYC home. According to a new report from Page Six, a crazed fan named Mohammed Jaffar had been trying to get access to her luxurious penthouse in the last few months.

The country-turned-pop superstar was forced to call the police after the crazed fan repeatedly climbed onto the roof of her house from 10 P.M. to 2 A.M. He allegedly would wing her door bell continuously and hang out in the lobby in hopes he could meet her.

According to legal papers procured by the news outlet, Mohammed started his action in December when he went to Taylor's condo building and demanded to meet her. After being turned away, he returned there four more times in the next two months, with the final visit being on February 15.

It's stated in the legal documents that the 29-year-old guy managed to sneak his way into the corridor outside the "New Romantics" singer's unit and onto the roof of the building in the middle of the night during his incursion on February 6. Not satisfied with the progress he's making in-person, he contacted Taylor's management company via phone 59 times between January 27 and February 16.

Mohammed was finally arrested on March 6. He was charged with both stalking and burglary, and is currently being held on $20.000 bond. A restraining order to keep him away from the "Shake It Off" hitmaker was also granted.
