Emmys 2016: Sarah Paulson Sweetly Declares Love for Girlfriend Holland Taylor in Acceptance Speech
Celebrity

Attending the Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 18 with real-life Marcia Clark, the 'American Crime Story' star took time to give a shout-out to her lover when accepting an award.

AceShowbiz - Holland Taylor was nowhere to be seen at the 2016 Emmy Awards, but Sarah Paulson made sure her girlfriend was still part of her big night. The "American Horror Story" actress declared love for her lover multiple times during the Sunday, September 18 ceremony, including when she was delivering her acceptance speech after winning her first Emmy.

Receiving the award for her role on "American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson", Paulson first apologized to real-life Marcia Clark whom she brought as her date that night. "I am glad to be able to stand here in front of everyone today and tell you I'm sorry," the star said.

She went on to thank her co-stars and the show's executive producer Ryan Murphy before she thanked her girlfriend Taylor. "Holland Taylor, I love you," she said. We didn't have to wait too long to find out how Taylor reacted to her partner's win. She immediately took to Twitter to excitedly write, "There it is."

Earlier on Sunday, Paulson already gave a shout-out to Taylor during an interview with E!. "Hi Holland - Holland Taylor, if you're watching, I love you," she said in front of the camera. Also via Twitter, Taylor adorably responded, "If I'm watching...?? If I'm WATCHING??? YES, I'm watching-!!! good LORD! ... I LOVE you!!!"

Paulson began dating Taylor, who's 30 years older than her, in 2015. Despite the very big age difference, the 41-year-old actress is really happy to be with the 73-year-old star. "What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor," Paulson said in an interview earlier this year.
