AceShowbiz - A week before the anniversary of Prince Diana's death, Prince William brought back memories of the painful loss to console a grieving teenager. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Keech Hospice Care in Luton, Bedfordshire, England on Wednesday, August 24, and met 14-year-old Ben Hines, who lost his mother to cancer last summer.
"Time makes it easier," he told the grieving boy. "I miss her so much," Ben said. The 34-year-old prince said, "I know how you feel. I still miss my mother every day - and it's 20 years after she died." He then shared some advice for the boy, "The important thing is to talk about it as a family. It's OK to feel sad, it's OK for you to miss her."
Ben, who has mild autism, has two brothers, Thomas, 20, and Richard, 24. William then made the boys and their father Gary, 48, promise that they would keep talking to each other. "As four boys, you have to talk a lot better - we're not good sharers. It's a classic example of lots of talking needed," he said.

William was just 15 and his brother Prince Harry was 12 when their mother Prince Diana died in a car crash.
Gary said of their conversation with William and his wife Kate Middleton, "I was getting all choked up towards the end when Ben was talking about his mum," adding that William "gave Ben his absolute attention. You could see that it struck a chord with him."
