Kim and Kanye choose to ignore the cease and desist letter sent by Taylor's team in an attempt to stop them from releasing the tape.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift could sue Kim Kardashian and Kanye West after Kim leaked her phone chat with Kanye West on her Snapchat. The conversation was recorded at an L.A. studio without Taylor's consent and the singer had fired off a cease and desist letter to prevent it from getting out, but it was apparently ignored by Kim and her rapper husband.

Not only Taylor attempted to stop KimYe from releasing the tape, but she also demanded it be destroyed. In a letter obtained by TMZ, her lawyer said, "Demand is hereby made that you immediately destroy all such recordings, provide us of assurance that this has been done, and also assurance that these recordings have not been previously disseminated."

The "Bad Blood" singer reportedly sent the letter to Kanye's camp in February. In an interview with GQ earlier this year, Kim admitted there was a letter from Taylor's camp saying, "Don't ever let that footage come out of me saying that. Destroy it."

In the latest episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", Kris Jenner told Kim, "What would happen if you just called Taylor up and say 'What happened? How did this go so south?' I guess I don't understand the motivation to flip ... maybe she took it the wrong way. My advice would to be give Taylor Swift a call." Kim, however, was quick to reject the momager's advice, "Thank you for your lovely advice, but I'm not going to take it."
