Breezy takes it to Instagram to address the accusations that he assaulted a fan during a party at Gotha Club in Cannes last month.

AceShowbiz - Chris Brown sets the record straight on the buzzing rumors that he assaulted a fan. The accusation emerged after a video surfaced on the internet showing the R&B singer angrily stepped on a man's head inside a club during a party he hosted.

The incident happened at Gotha Club in Cannes on May 18. In a video message to his Instagram followers, Breezy denies the allegation and explains what really went down that night. He claims the man was a security who tried to grab him.

"No fans were hurt by Chris Brown. No fans were beat up by Chris Brown," he says. "[The] security ... I don't think he probably knew who I was. I don't care, but he assaulted me, grabbed his hand around my throat and tried to push me out the spot when we were walking."

"My security was already advanced in another spot. So we handled the situation accordingly and moved on," he adds. "This has to be a month old so y'all gotta get y'all news faster. And stop lying to the people saying I beat up fans. I don't do that, but don't get it f***ed up."
