Justin Bieber Added to 2016 BBMA Line-Up of Performers

The Canadian singer will perform a medley of his 'Purpose' tracks at the awards show, which will be broadcast live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber is taking a break from his tour next month to attend the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. The singer, who's been hitting the road to support his album "Purpose", will also take the stage at the event to perform some of his hits.

The organizers announced Bieber's upcoming appearance via Twitter on Wednesday, April 27, saying that he would do a medley of "Company" and "Sorry" off his latest studio effort. The Canadian heartthrob also shared the news with his 80 million followers and added, "See u at the #BBMAs."

The 2016 BBMAs will be broadcast live on ABC from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22 at 8 P.M. ET/5 P.M. PT with Ludacris and Ciara as co-hosts. It will be the first time in BBMA history that the show would air simultaneously on both the east and west coasts.

Pink, DNCE and Shawn Mendes are other names scheduled to perform at the annual awards-giving show. The Go Go's has also joined the line-up to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their hit "We Got the Beat".
