TV

Nyle DiMarco and Jodie Sweetin were among standouts during the Switch-Up night, which also saw Maksim Chmerkovskiy returning as a guest judge.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" switched things up for its Monday, April 18 episode. The show that night saw the remaining contestants getting new partners to dance with and one of them earning the first 10 of the season. Also, season 18 winner Maksim Chmerkovskiy returned as a guest judge, joining Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

Wanya Morris was the first star to dance, pairing with Witney Carson for the tango to James Bay's "Hold Back the River". While the audience thought the two looked amazing together, Len found their dance "hectic." Wanya earned a score of 30/40.

Kim Fields and Keo Motsepe were up next, doing the classic Viennese waltz to Otis Redding's "These Arms of Mine". Bruno and Carrie Ann loved it, but Maksim and Len had different opinion. Kim earned 32 points.

Doug Flutie teamed up with Peta Murgatroyd for a high-energy tango to "Black and Gold" by Sam Sparro. Bruno said it wasn't bad, but pointed out that even though Doug got a lot of the steps right, he has no real musicality. Each judge gave him a 7 for a total of 28.

Ginger Zee nabbed Mark Ballas for an amazing salsa. Clad in a sparkly yellow dress, she heated up the stage with Mark, who wore yellow shirt paired with a bandana and black tee. "No matter who the partner, you're someone to watch!" Carrie Ann commented. Ginger earned 32 points.

Antonio Brown was next, dancing the cha cha with Karina Smirnoff to "Son of a Preacher". He did pretty well despite the fact that he often came late for rehearsals. "I'm a big fan," Maks told him. "Everything shines." Antonio got a total of 26 points from the four judges.

Paige VanZant got sexy with Sasha Farber as they danced the rumba to a stripped down version of One Direction's "Perfect". "You are more than capable of winning the show," said Bruno. The pair earned 31 points. They're followed by Von Miller and Lindsay Arnold who got 29 points with their jive.

Next was Nyle DiMarco, who along with Sharna Burgess wowed everyone with the Viennese waltz to "I Get to Love You" by Ruelle. The pair's performance even brought Carrie Ann to tears. The four judges gave Nyle 9s, except for Len who gave him a 10 for a total of 37. That's the first 10 this season

Jodie Sweetin was the next contestant taking the stage and another standout that night. She was paired with Valentin Chmerkovskiy for the Paso Doble to "Under Control" by Calvin Harris. It was easily the "Fuller House" star's best performance so far, earning her a total of 35 points.

No one was eliminated as the scores and votes from last week will be combined with the ones from tonight. Next week, the show will bring back Famous Dances night.
