According to an insider, the 'What Do You Mean' hitmaker was going to surprise the 'Hands to Myself' singer with an 'extravagant' date night, but he canceled it reportedly because the two had a fight.

AceShowbiz - After posting a steamy throwback picture with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber reportedly wanted to get back together with her. The "Sorry" singer was said to plan an extravagant date night to win Selena back, but unfortunately he canceled it.
A source close to Justin said that the 23-year-old singer wanted to surprise his former girlfriend after she attended his concert last week. "Justin wanted to rent out the Staples Center after his concert to do a repeat date night screening of 'Titanic' for Selena because he is trying to get back with her," the insider told E! News.
However, Justin canceled his plan and no one really knew what actually caused him to make the decision. "I don't know why he didn't go through with it, and I also don't know if he ever even told Selena about his plan, but I do know he is really obviously trying to date her again," the source explained. "He wanted to do something big and extravagant for her like this and had been making arrangements for the movie date before his concert even started."
People close to the situation speculated that the Biebs chose to call off his plan because he had a fight with the former Disney star. "The speculation is that an argument had taken place between the two before the show since he canceled the date plans," the source continued. "Something had shifted Bieber's mood completely."
Things eventually got worse and Justin's mood reportedly ruined a lot of things, including his meet and greet with fans. "He canceled his meet and greet that fans paid $2000 for," the source added. "During his concert between songs, he was alluding to the fact that he wasn't happy to be there. At one point during the concert he was just lying on the stage not singing, just letting the track run."
