'Gilmore Girls' Star Arielle Kebbel Signed on for 'Fifty Shades Freed'

The 'Ballers' actress is tapped to play a 'spicy' female architect in the upcoming third installment of 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.

AceShowbiz - Arielle Kebbel joins "Fifty Shades Freed", the "Fifty Shades of Grey" threequel. The actress known for her roles in "Ballers", "unREAL", and "Gilmore Girls" is tapped to take the role of Gia Matteo, a beautiful architect hired to build Christian Grey's house.

"Honored. Gia is one spicy lady ... @FiftyShades," the 30-year-old actress gushed on Twitter shortly after news broke out. "Yes, It's official! I am thrilled to join the #FiftyShades cast as spicy Gia Matteo."

"Fifty Shades Freed" is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on February 9, 2018 following the second installment "Fifty Shades Darker" which is due February 10, 2017. Jamie Dornan is back as Grey, the kinky billionaire, and Dakota Johnson reprises her role as Anastasia Steele.

Both the second and third installments are being filmed back to back. James Foley is attached to direct both films while Niall Leonard, the husband of the book's author E.L. James, is booked to write scripts for them.
