This Major Character May Die at the End of 'Captain America: Civil War'

A new report reveals one major character who will end up dying following the events in the film and who the killer is.

AceShowbiz - In the past few months, we've been guessing who will stay alive and who will not at the end of "Captain America: Civil War". Leaked set photos have hinted that multiple characters, which may or may not include Captain America himself, will end up getting killed following the events in the film.

Now, a new report by Geek.com claims that [SPOILER ALERT!] the Cap's death will indeed happen. According to their sources, there are currently two cuts of the film's ending, one featuring Chris Evans' Steve Rogers disappearing into the night alongside his fellow Avengers, and the other one featuring Crossbones killing Captain America. The latter cut is reportedly the current theatrical ending.

Frank Grillo who plays Crossbones has previously teased the possibility. At a convention during which he appeared alongside directors Joe and Anthony Russo, the actor said that he'd "love" to kill Captain America. Responding to the statement, Joe Russo said that "we may or may not have filmed that scene."

So, if Captain America's really dead, how will he be featured in "Avengers: Infinity War Part I"? Geek said that just like in the comics, the Winter Soldier would become the new Captain America. They have learned that Sebastian Stan, who plays the assassin, has already been fitted for his own Captain America suit. Evans' Steve Rogers, meanwhile, will reportedly be kept out of the first "Inifinity War" film entirely before being resurrected for the second part.

"Captain America: Civil War" is set to open in U.S. theaters on May 6.
