A representative for the actor debunks rumor saying that Lincoln asks the show's producers to kill off his character Rick Grimes.

AceShowbiz - "The Walking Dead" isn't losing this beloved character anytime soon. Andrew Lincoln, who has played Rick Grimes since the first season, has no plans to depart the hit AMC drama despite report stating otherwise.
OK! magazine first spread the rumor that the British actor's "planning his exit" because he's "tired of dragging" his wife and two kids from England to Georgia when he films the show. He reportedly has informed the show's bosses that he wanted to leave the series after the upcoming sixth season and has asked the producers to kill off his character.
However, the rumor has been debunked. A representative for Lincoln tells Gossip Cop there's "no truth" to the tabloid claim.
Rick is a key character on "The Walking Dead" and killing him won't make sense since the character is still alive on the comic books.
"The Walking Dead" returns for a sixth season Sunday, October 11 at 9 P.M. on AMC. Tovah Feldshuh (Deanna Monroe), Alexandra Breckenridge (Jessie Anderson) and Austin Nichols (Spencer Monroe) have recently been promoted to series regulars for the new season.
