A week before he came late to the show and was then booed, Meek was engaged in a Twitter argument with Canadian politician Norm Kelly who said the rapper's 'no longer welcome in Toronto.'

AceShowbiz - Meek Mill got booed when Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint" tour, which has him as a supporting act, came to Toronto on Tuesday, July 28. The rapper, who already angered lots of Canadians when he dissed the country's hero Drake last week, made them even more upset when he showed up onstage two hours late.

Meek was originally scheduled to perform at 8:00 P.M., according to concert promoter Live Nation Ontario, but he started his set at 10.00 P.M. Reports said that the Philly native was held up at the Canadian border for hours.

When Meek finally arrived at the Molson Amphitheatre, angry fans in the audience started booing him. He only performed a total of four songs before exiting the stage.

Interestingly, Meek found himself engaging in a brief Twitter feud with Toronto councillor Norm Kelly a week before he was detained at the Canadian border and subsequently came late to the show.

"You're no longer welcome in Toronto, @MeekMill," Norm tweeted after Meek accused Drake of not writing his own verse on their collaboration "R.I.C.O." Responding to him, Meek said, "Aye white man @norm what gives you the audacity to tell me I can't come somewhere over me voicing my opinion! U sound like a thug lol."

The politician then replied, "Aye American @MeekMill. Didn't say don't come. Just puzzled why you'd diss a Canadian hero a week before coming to his city."
