AceShowbiz - It's down to five on "The Voice" season 8 as the competition is nearing its finals. Another singer was sent packing on Tuesday, April 5, but not before some live performances, including from those who sang for Instant Save.
India Carney and Kimberly Nichole who are both of Team Christina Aguilera landed in the bottom two this week. The former performed "Perfect" to earn people's votes via Twitter, while the latter sang "Seven Nation Army". Both singers were strong performers and losing either of them would be hard for Christina.
Viewers' votes were then revealed and India was saved, meaning that Kimberly was eliminated. India joins Joshua Davis of Team Adam Levine, Meghan Linsey of Team Blake Shelton as well as Koryn Hawthorne and Sawyer Fredericks of Team Pharrell Williams in the Top 5.
The Tuesday results show also saw the return of several "The Voice" alums, including Jacquie Lee, Avery Wilson, Vicci Martinez and Craig Wayne Boyd, who made musical performances.
