Ernie Hudson Eying to Play King T'Chaka in 'Black Panther'

The 'Ghostbusters' star is rumored to set his eyes on joining Marvel Cinematic Universe as the on-screen father of Chadwick Boseman's superhero character.

AceShowbiz - Ernie Hudson is circling Marvel's "Black Panther". The former "Ghostbusters" actor is reportedly eying to portray King T'Chaka, the ruler of Wakanda and father of Chadwick Boseman's titular character T'Challa.

Latino-Review claims Hudson has been hitting the gym and picking up back issues of "Black Panther" comics. Last October when a fan said on Twitter that he and Boseman could play a father and a son, the actor did enthusiastically reply, "I'm ready!"

Black Panther is expected to appear in "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, 2016 before getting his own solo film on July 6, 2018. Anthony and Joe Russo are back serving as directors for "Civil War". Other than T'Challa, it's unclear if any other character from the Black Panther will join the third Cap movie.
