AceShowbiz - "Twin Peaks" cast have joined forces to make a plea to David Lynch, begging him to return for the reboot project which is currently in development at Showtime. Sherilyn Fenn, Dana Ashbrook, Sheryl Lee, James Marshall and Peggy Lipton are some of those who appear in a compilation of short videos in which they complete the analogy " 'Twin Peaks' without David Lynch is like..."

The video is part of #SaveTwinPeaks campaign and was posted on a cast-run Facebook page. The cast additionally support the petition on change.org which has so far garnered more than 17.000 signatures out of its goal of 25.000.

Lynch, who co-created the 1990 TV series, left the revival project due to money issue. "After 1 year and 4 months of negotiations, I left because not enough money was offered to do the script the way I felt it needed to be done," he said on Twitter, Sunday, April 5, adding that "Showtime did not pull the plug on Twin Peaks."

Responding to Lynch's exit, Showtime said in a statement, "We continue to hold out hope that we can bring it back in all its glory with both of its extraordinary creators, David Lynch and Mark Frost, at its helm."

Lynch was originally expected to direct all nine episodes of the "Twin Peaks" limited series which has tapped Kyle MacLachlan to reprise his role as FBI Agent Dale Cooper. The show is eyed for a 2016 premiere.
