AceShowbiz - Things don't look so good in Frank Underwood and Claire's marriage judging from a new promo for "House of Cards" season 3. The teaser captures the new POTUS and his wife during a tense presidential photo shoot.
"Today I touched your shoulder, you flinched," Frank tells his wife in voiceover following her negative reaction when he touched her shoulder during the photo shoot, "It was like you were coiled." She replies, "I think you're reading too much into something."
"House of Cards" season 3 is scheduled to premiere February 27 on Netflix, but recently 10 of the 13 episodes of the new season were accidentally released earlier. Those available episodes, however, were pulled 20 minutes later.
Responding to the leak, showrunner Beau Willimon said on the red carpet for the Writers Guild Awards' East Coast ceremony on Saturday, February 14, "No harm done." He, in fact, "was actually very amused by the whole thing and then delighted to see what a huge response we got from the fans. So many people are excited about what's going to happen two weeks from now."
He added that there wasn't much fans could watch in 20 minutes, insisting, "We take great care, obviously, to keep as much of the story secret as possible and there a little bit of the story was let out but there are plenty of surprises ahead. Twenty minutes is not enough for people to have figured everything out."
"There's plenty of speculation on the Web in terms of what people gathered from watching those first 20 minutes or people who scrubbed ahead to subsequent episodes. And all I will say is some of that speculation is right and some of it is wrong," he further told THR. "But I won't tell you which is which."
