O'Donnell, who announced her departure last Friday, thanks her co-hosts, the show's crew and Barbara Walters at the end of the Thursday, February 12 episode.

AceShowbiz - Rosie O'Donnell bid farewell to "The View" again after less than five months rejoining the show. At the end of the Thursday, February 12 episode, she said while holding her 2-year-old daughter Dakota in her arms, "I just wanted to say thank you to all the cast here and the crew - and mostly to Barbara [Walters] has always looked out for me and my life and career and is an amazing woman." She added, "I want to thank her for making this show and letting me be on it - twice!"

"We've had fun and I hope we're gonna have more," she continued, "I'll come back and do occasional crafting segment." The audience chanted her name "Rosie" and she joked after a large applause that if she'd gotten that welcome more often she would have stayed.

Last Friday, O'Donnell announced that she's leaving "The View" for the second time and at the same time announced her separation from her wife of nearly three years Michelle Rounds. "She is putting her personal health and family first," her representative said in a statement.

She later told The Hollywood Reporter at the Athena Film Festival in New York that her health issue prompted her exit. "[My health] got a little bit worse right before the holidays - [my doctor] was kind of concerned," she explained, "I can't really fix [my personal life] right away, but I can fix [my job]. So I spoke to them at ABC, and I told them, and they understood. They've been unbelievably supportive and loving."
