AceShowbiz - Bruce Jenner has broken his silence on the fatal car accident involving him in which a person was killed over the weekend. Bruce offered his condolences to the victim's family in a statement issued on Sunday, February 8 by his publicist Alan Nierob.

Bruce said, "My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy, and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."

Alan also said that Bruce wasn't texting while driving when he got into the crash. He added that Bruce would provide his cellphone records if requested by the investigators. "The evidence will show that Bruce was not texting at the time of the accident," the publicist stated.

According to Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials, investigators will likely seek cellphone records from all drivers involved to determine whether distracted driving play a role in the crash.

In previous report, authorities confirmed that paparazzi were not to blame in the fatal crash. "As of right now, there is no indication that Bruce Jenner was being chased by paparazzi at the time of the crash," a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said, "There was a possibility that paparazzi was following him at the time of the crash, but that is a very regular occurrence, and [there's] no indication at this time it was a contributing factor of the crash."
