Jaq Mackenzie, Nick Fradiani, Hunter Larson and Michael Simeon move on following their performance of Magic!'s song, and so does David Oliver Willis' team who sings 'Signed Sealed Delivered'.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" picked up where the last episode left off in the Thursday, February 5 outing. Gabby Zonnefeld, who had a breakdown as she forgot her lyrics during the "lines of 10" round, was pulled backstage by Harry Connick Jr.. While she regained her composure, Kelley Kime performed and made it through to the next round.
Gabby then returned with new confidence and finished her performance. She was deemed safe and so was Katherine Winston. More contestants performed and the successful ones included 15-year-old Daniel Seavey, 16-year-old Maddie Walker, Alexis Gomez, Cody Fry, Loren Lott, Shi Scott, Qaasim Middleton and Jax Cole.
Next was the group round. The contestants had to divide into groups of four, selected a captain, a song and rehearsed their group performance in a night. "This separates the players from the champions," Jennifer Lopez said.
Double Stuff, consisting of David Oliver Willis, Jesse Cline, Clark Beckham and J. None, performed first. They sang "Signed Sealed Delivered" by Stevie Wonder and were sent to the next round.
Big Ron Wilson, Shi Scott, Andrew Bloom and Adam Ezegelian performed together under the moniker Shiba Squared, covering Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T.". Andrew was cut, while the others were given a pass.
Tyanna Jones, Maddy Hudson, Reno Anoa'i and Steffi Ledbetter called themselves The Dream Team, but Steffi's dream to be an "Idol" winner had to stop there following their rendition of Jackson 5's "I Want You Back". The other team members, though forgetting their lyrics, made it through to the next round.
Team Dimples, made up of Jaq Mackenzie, Nick Fradiani, Hunter Larson and Michael Simeon, performed Magic!'s "Rude" well together and all four of them advanced. Sal Valentinetti led a team which also included Alexis Granville. Alexis collapsed just before the team was going to perform.
The episode once again ended with a cliffhanger with the fate of Alexis and Sal's team on the bubble.
