AceShowbiz - The upcoming Super Bowl XLIX will be a fun event for moviegoers in addition to football fans. Major studios have confirmed to release new trailers for their upcoming releases during the sports event which takes place on Sunday, February 1. In a few days, fans will see new videos from movies such as "Terminator Genisys" and "Tomorrowland" as they wait for the flicks' theatrical release.

According to Deadline, Paramount is unveiling TV spots for "Genisys" and "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water". An ad for the sci-fi action flick starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Clarke and Emilia Clarke will be released during the game's second quarter, while the family-friendly flick featuring SpongBob Squarepants and Patrick Star will air its ad in the first half-hour window ahead of the kickoff.

Walt Disney Pictures' "Tomorrowland", a sci-fi action starring George Clooney, Brittany Robertson and Hugh Laurie which is set for release on May 22, is also releasing a TV spot. Universal, meanwhile, is releasing ads for "Jurassic World", "Ted 2", "Seventh Son" and "Minions". As for the "Minions" spot, it already debuted today.

"The Divergent Series: Insurgent", which dropped a super cool final poster featuring the lead stars on Wednesday, January 28, is showcasing a new trailer on MTV.com on Thursday 9 A.M. P.T. and NBC's pregame show. "Kingsman: The Secret Service", which is hitting U.S. theaters on February 13, also has a trailer during the big game.

Seattle Seahawks is facing off the New England Patriots at the game which takes place at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Katy Perry will perform during the halftime show, while Lenny Kravitz will serve as one of her special guests.
