AceShowbiz - Nikki Reed confirmed she's engaged to her beau Ian Somerhalder when attending the Third Annual Catdance Film Festival sponsored by FreshStep held at the SkyLodge in Park City, Utah on Saturday, January 24. Reports of their engagement first emerged on January 16.
"He's so beautiful inside and out!" the star of "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I" gushed over her fiance when speaking to Us Weekly at the event. "He's quite possibly the most amazing man that's ever walked the planet, it's crazy. I'm so lucky, I love him."
Nikki also talked about her nine pets she shared with Ian including four dogs, three cats and two horses. "We love our animals so much," she shared, "Since the time I could walk, I was doing all these fosters, rehabs, and rescues. My mom and I have done this together, and it was natural to continue it."
In another interview with the Associated Press, Nikki was asked about her marriage plans. "Life is really great right now," the "Last Day of Summer" actress said, "And I'm so excited for the future."
A source previously told E! News that Nikki and Ian were "so happy" about their engagement. "They were crazy happy from the start. Their families love each other. It just feels really right," the source said. Another source shared to Us Weekly, "She accepted with glee. She is madly in love."
