The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to make decision on whether same-sex couples have right to tie the knot across all states by June this year.

AceShowbiz - The U.S. Supreme Court announced on Friday, January 16 that they would rule whether gay couples have right to get married across all states by June this year. Ellen DeGeneres and Lady GaGa were among celebrities who reacted to the decision.
"Yay! That's fantastic. It's about time," DeGeneres said during the "One Big Happy" panel at the 2015 Winter TCA Press Tour, "It's funny, I don't know if you've seen the movie 'Selma', but the thing that changed the civil rights movement was when white people got involved and starting marching. Until then it was nothing but violence and it continued to be for a while. But we need everyone on our side."
The host of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" added, "We're trying to kind of do this march and we just need people who believe in equality and believe in fairness and love. So if we have people who will join us and give us that, which is only fair to have the same rights that everybody else has, then it's a wonderful world."
GaGa, meanwhile, voiced her opinion on Twitter, writing, "Gay marriage is headed to the SUPREME COURT. Lets get ready to rumble. Raise your voices, share your stories. You deserve justice. #equality."
Other celebrities like George Takei, Marlee Matlin and Billy Eichner also took to Twitter to respond to Supreme Court's decision. George wrote, "BREAKING: The Supreme Court has just agreed to hear the marriage equality cases out of the 6th Circuit." Marlee tweeted, "The Supreme Court will decide by June on the merits of what we already know: Marriage equality should be for EVERYONE. #LoveEquality."
Billy, meanwhile, posted, "The Supreme Court has agreed to rule on gay marriage this year. In exchange, Ruth Bader Ginsberg will be the new host of 'Fashion Police'."
