Angelina Jolie Called 'Minimally Talented Spoiled Brat' in Sony Leak Emails

Producer Scott Rudin slams the 'Unbroken' helmer after she demanded David Fincher direct her movie 'Cleopatra' rather than doing Steve Jobs movie.

AceShowbiz - In a series of leaked emails as a result of Sony hacking scandal, Angelina Jolie's name was mentioned in a heated exchange between the studio's co-chairman Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin. Apparently, it had something to do with the untitled Steve Jobs biopic which was originally developed at the studio before it finds a new home at Universal.

The "Maleficent" actress was called "a minimally talented spoiled brat" by Rudin over her demand to have David Fincher direct her in "Cleopatra". "Jolie is upset about us giving david jobs. She wants to talk," Pascal informed Rudin, to which the producer briefly responded, "She'll survive it. I don't want to waste my time on this."

Rudin later wrote to Pascal, "You better shut Angie down before she makes it very hard for David to do Jobs." Pascal didn't take his message kindly and hotly replied, "Do not f**king threaten me," to which Rudin denied. He went on to give his strong opinion on the Cleopatra movie and trash-talked Jolie in the process.

"There is no movie of Cleopatra to be made," he said, "(and how that is a bad thing and rampaging spoiled ego of this woman and the cost of the movie is beyond me) and if you won't tell her that you do not like the script, which, let me remind you, she doesn't either, this will just spin even further out in Crazyland but let me tell you I have zero appetite for the indulgence of spoiled brats and I will tell her this myself if you don't."

"I've told you exactly how I want to do this material. It's the ONLY way I want to do this material. I'm not remotely interested in presiding over a $180m ego bath that we both know will be the career-defining debacle for us both. I'm not destroying my career over a minimally talented spoiled brat who thought nothing of shoving this off her plate for eighteen months so she could go direct a movie."

"I have no desire to be making a movie with her, or anybody, that she runs and that we don't. She's a camp event and a celebrity and that's all and the last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming. We will end up being the laughing stock of our industry and we will deserve it, which is so clearly where this is headed that I cannot believe we are still wasting our time with it."

Rudin also had issues with Megan Ellison who's interested in financing the Jobs movie. He called the Annapurna founder a "bipolar 28 year old lunatic." In response to the diss, the daughter of billionaire Larry Ellison wrote on Twitter, "Bipolar 28-year-old lunatic..? I always thought of myself more as eccentric."

The reason why Christian Bale who was originally a top choice to lead the Jobs movie eventually left the project was revealed as well. The actor, as Pascal learned, "has been doing endless research and he is coming up empty in figuring out part." After tossing out some names, they eventually zeroed in on Michael Fassbender.
