Sundance Film Fest 2015 Unveils Short-Film Lineup

Eighty titles of short films which will play at the festival starting from January are selected from 8,061 submissions.

AceShowbiz - The 2015 Sundance Film Festival announced its lineup for short-film on Tuesday, December 9. There are eighty titles which will be played at the festival taking place between January 22-February 1. The chosen titles were selected from 8,061 submissions.

"This year's short filmmakers have broken through their limited timeframe with a high level of artistry and story that will resonate with audiences long after each film has ended," Mike Plante, the festival's senior programmer, said of the lineup.

Among the titles which are presented in the lineup, there is one which is called "Myrna the Monster". It tells the story of a heartbroken alien who transitions into young adult life in Los Angeles. Another movie called "Rabbit" focuses on a female prisoner who is entrusted with a small rabbit.
