Khloe Kardashian gets brutally honest about her emotional journey through surrogacy and motherhood, sharing the truths about paternity, naming, and bonding with her son.

AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian's venture into motherhood through surrogacy has unfolded layers of emotional complexities, shedding light on her challenges from grappling with paternity doubts to struggling with bonding and naming her son, Tatum Thompson.

In an intriguing revelation on the "SHE MD" podcast, Khloe disclosed that she had Tristan Thompson, the father of her children, undergo three DNA tests for their son Tatum, born via a surrogate. "He was so offended," Khloe remembered her baby daddy's reaction.

Her insistence stemmed from Tatum's unlikeness to either parent, which led Khloe even to ask her brother, Rob Kardashian, if he'd "ever donated sperm somewhere" due to his uncanny resemblance to Tatum. "In this family, that would not surprise me, but that would be so disgusting," she laughed.

Adding to the emotional rollercoaster, Khloe revealed in the interview her struggles with naming and bonding with Tatum. Unlike her daughter True, with whom she felt an immediate connection, Tatum's surrogacy birth introduced a delay in bonding, a sentiment not uncommon among parents who opt for surrogacy.

For eight months, Tatum was without a legally recognized name, highlighting Khloe's challenges in feeling connected to her son without the physical experience of pregnancy. "That was tough … because I wasn't carrying him, I didn't really feel anything," she explained. "The connection ... took days with True. With him, it's taking months and we still don't have a complete bond."

Khloe's apprehensions were further magnified when recalling her surrogate's early delivery. Overwhelmed by the sudden timing, she found herself unprepared to welcome Tatum, showcasing the stark emotional unpredictability tied to surrogacy.

Khloe recalled telling her doctor she "can't do it," but the baby really needed to be delivered "within 24 hours" because the surrogate no longer had "fluid in the sac." Khloe was finally able to "snap out of it" after the doctor offered to take care of the baby boy until she's ready to pick him up. She said, "I remember I was like to myself, 'Khloe, f**king snap out of it. This is life. We got to do this.' "
